N93119 / 17119 (cn 20083/153) Approaching runway 28L, it was delivered to TWA on 27th October 1971. On 17th July 1996 it was operating flight TW800 from New York JFK to Paris CDG, during the climb there was an explosion in the centre wing tank probably caused by a wiring fault. The aircraft broke up and crashed into the sea off the Long Island coast. |
