N9701F (cn 10184) Ferried from Greybull, WY to Hagerstown, MD in October 2006, this Fairchild veteran was recently joined by C-119G N8093. Remnants of her TWA stripes still remain visible! The aircraft is owned by the Hagerstown Aviation Museum. |

N9701F (cn 10184) One-time TWA engine transporter "Ontos" is still airworthy, albeit on a "Restricted" C of A, with H and P, though I don't think it's done much flying lately. |

N9701F (cn 10184) This rare Packet (delivered to the USAF in 1948 as 45-57814) was used to haul cargo (mainly fish) all through Alaska. In 1992 it was sold and flown to Greybull, WY, where it still survives today as the world's only flying Packet. It flew with TWA from 1956 to 1972, and the remnants of their livery are still visible on the tail. Also visible are very faded "Briles" titles, from its time with Briles Wing & Helicopter during the mid-70's. |

N9701F (cn 10184) This aircraft might be the last airworthy C-82 in the world. Barely visible on the side of the aircraft are the TWA stripes it sported in the 1950's when it ferried spare engines around Europe. |

N9701F (cn 10184) "Ontos" lives... This C-82 Packet (not a Flying Boxcar!) known as Ontos at one time served as an spare engine transporter for TWA in Europe - it is still possible to discern where the TWA stripes were on the fuselage sides and the tail. "Ontos", seen here on the plain surrounding South Big Horn County Airport with the Big Horn mountains in the background, is owned by Hawkins and Powers, and now appears occasionally at airshows and other events |

N9701F / 5551 (cn 10184) This aircraft sat in an isolated area at Long Beach for several years, along with other seemly derelict aircraft. The tail section is actually hanging above the San Diego Freeway. Fortunately this C-82a survived and has had a colorful life in the last 24 years. |
