OY-JET (cn 525A-0089) A tribute shot to OY-JET, just 10 days later she was written off in Bader Field - Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA where this aircraft overshot the runway and landed into the bay. All 4 occupants survived, thankfully. Uploaded at 1600 as this is probably the last shot of this beautiful Citation 525. Canon 10D + 100-400L IS.

Weibel Scientific A/S
Cessna 525A Citation CJ2
Copenhagen - Roskilde (Tune) (RKE / EKRK)
Denmark, August 17, 2003
Remark
Photographer
OY-JET (cn 525A-0089) Roskilde Airshow 2003. On May 15th, 2005, this aircraft skidded off the end of the runway while landing in Bader Field - Atlantic City, New Jersey USA. Fortunately, all survived. The pilot attempted to land on a wet 2 948 foot runway at an airport which usually does not accept jets with a 10-knot tailwind. But the airplane would require 3 500 feet with that tailwind.
