OY-KTE (cn 45922/335) Leased to Arista for 1983, this DC-8 joined SAS back in 2.68 and became 60112 with the R Thai AF 9.85 (see my shot at LHR), having been leased by Thai since 10.84. Became N799AL with Arrow in 9.89 and leased by Hawaiian, Air Marshall Islands, Zantop and latterly ATI from 7.98 |

OY-KTE (cn 45922/335) "Skjold Viking" was the 1st of 2 convertible DC-8-62CFs ordered by SAS and delivered at the end of February 1968. Opb SAS until transferred to Scanair and renamed "Turid Viking" October 1979 . Leased to Arista 1983 and North Eastern 1983/84, the to Thai 1984/85 until sold to Thai Air Force in September 1985, as 60112 . Since September 1991 operated as N799AL, currently (april 2006) still with Air Transport International. Seen lifting from rwy 06 on a rare visit to FBU. |
