OY-STK (cn 266) Parked at Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), OY-STK is ready for its return flight to Copenhagen, with en route stops at Dubai and Ankara. Only 4 months later on 15-03-74, this aircraft was destroyed by fire while taxiing for takeoff at Tehran, Iran. Aboard were 4 crew and of the 92 passengers, 15 perished. While initiating a left turn, the right maingear collapsed. The right wing fueltank ruptured and the escaping fuel iginited.

OY-STK (cn 266) On final approach to Dubai Int. Airport. During the flight from Colombo to Copenhagen, 2 scheduled refueling stops were made at Dubai and Ankara. A planned stop at Bombay was not necessary and OY-STK was able to fly direct to Dubai. Aircraft was destroyed by fire on 15-03-74, while taxiing for takeoff at Tehran, Iran
