ST-SAT (cn 5 34 35 02) Sarit lost six An-12s in 2003-2004, according to reports. Three of the Ans crashed in or near Wau, in Southern-Sudan. These are the remains of Alpha Tango, that crashed on June 26th, 2004 during take off after birds struck two of its propellors. The plane caught fire and three years later four burned turbo props were still laying in the field.
