View north-west of Dampier town, built 10 years earlier built by Hamersley Iron to house their workers employed on the port, iron ore processing plant & railways. An iron ore ship is docked at East Intercourse Island, and to the left is the salt loading jetty at Mistaken Island. This F28 stayed with MMA (renamed Airlines of Western Australia, then Ansett WA) for most of its life. WFU 21.4.94 & BU at Melbourne. |
