VT-AIS (cn 25703/1025) Have you ever made yourself thoughts once of the liveries you are photographing? The new Air India livery still features the lovely and unique Rajasthani arches around the windows while the tail design shows a stylised flying swan in red with a stylised orange sun in it, also called "Konark Chakra". Additionally two speed lines (one in red standing for the swan and one in orange colors, indicating the sun) can be seen running parallel to each other from the nose section to the rear part of all AI aircraft, indicating the identities of Air India and Indian Airlines merged into one. The brand name Air India is clearly entitled on the tails, on the right hand side written in Hindi. A true piece of art! Btw., did you ever notice the window inside the main doors on apparently all AI B747's?
