The helicopter was novel with its twin rotor, and odd anhedral tailplane. It is very long - 16.5m (54'), and its proximity to the other exhibits unfortunately precludes a shot from side-on. This post WWII helecopter was the built in Weston-super-Mare, and was the RAF's first twin rotor to enter service. The Belvedere gained it's nickname the 'Flying Longhouse' while operating in remote parts of Borneo, where indigenous tribes named it after their huts.
