Photo ID: 1053399 Views: 9351 Aircraft Location & Date UK - Air Force Hawker Siddeley Nimrod MR2P (801) Woodford (EGCD) UK - England, June 23, 1990 Remark Photographer XV257 (cn 8032) A very interesting find at Woodford on an incredibly wet day in June 1990. This Nimrod was on patrol off Land's End on the 3rd June 1984 when a fire in the bomb bay forced the crew to return to their base for an emergency landing. The fire may have been caused by a flare. The Nimrod was not repaired and was used as a spares source before being scrapped. Michael Baldock Contact Link to me!
