XX158 (cn 004/312004) Although this Hawk wears no squadron markings, it is in fact currently flying with No.19(R) Squadron here at RAF Valley. One of the original four development Hawk aircraft, XX158 first flew on the 1st July, 1975 but was actually one of the last Hawk aircraft to be delivered to the RAF. Still looking very smart and belying its 32 years old age, it is photographed just about to touch down on Runway 31 at the end of a sortie. |
