XX159 (cn 005/312005) One of two 208 Sqn Hawks painted for the 2006 display season in a special scheme commemorating 85 years of 4 FTS and the completion of a million Hawk flying hours by the unit. Already the commemorative titles have been removed and numerous black replacement panels encroach on the fuselage stripes which, with the enlarged 4FTS fin badge, are the last vestiges of a very striking livery. Thanks to Wg Cdr Rich Jacobs, OC Ops, for arranging the trip to the flight-line. (400D & Sigma 28-300) |
