PH-BUI (cn 21111/276) KLM Flight 9165 from Amsterdam to Dubai, cruising at FL350, seen from 1000 ft above. Maybe the largest trails I've ever seen... This B747, named 'Wilbur Wright', will be replaced December this year by a 747-400ER freighter |

JA8081 (cn 25064/851) I've seen the Space Shuttle take-off and I've seen plenty of topless women in SXM but nothing comes close to a 747 coming directly in your direction just a few hundred feet below you! This was really amazing. It's a real air-to-air picture, no discussions please! |

So mesmerised by this sight that I almost forgot to take a photograph. Four aircraft in all dominated by the A330 in front and its huge contrail. |

9V-SPD (cn 26552/1056) Shot 1 of 3: (see all) Unique front view of 747 Air to Air takeoffs. SQ11 heavy to Tokyo with full power climbing out of Rwy 25R. Definitely not an easy moment to capture but it took my breathe away once again..... [Nikon D100] |

N408MC (cn 29261/1192) After some serious neck twisting I eventually got this shot of this EK/Atlas Air 747 (2000ft above us) being "chased" by EK B777-200 (A6-EML, 4000ft above us) right at its' tail. Captured out of a EK (now that's coincidence...) B777 flightdeck (through left #1 window upwards - that's why the neck was twisted ;-). Us at FL340, 747 at 360, other B777 at 380. Canon S50 max zoom. |

JA8081 (cn 25064/851) Taken from our Cessna at 3500ft during our shoreline transition over LAX. This was a great sight. As the 747 moved on and gained speed it required more and more acrobatics inside the cramped Cessna as it was virtually behind us at that point. |

2 aircraft ahead of us with some spectacular contrails. The aircraft above is a Northwest B747-400 turning right to join our Airway. The aircraft below is a Singapore Airlines B777 on the same route as ourselves. |
