Scandinavian Airlines - SAS
Boeing 737-683
Brussels - National (Zaventem) / Melsbroek (BRU / EBBR / EBMB)
Belgium, September 28, 2001
Remark
Photographer
LN-RRY (cn 28297/30) Flight SK 1597 arriving from the capital of Sweden. The "Scandinavian" on the fuselage reflects the blue sky nicely.

Air Canada Tango
Airbus A320-211
Toronto - Lester B. Pearson International (Malton) (YYZ / CYYZ)
Canada - Ontario, October 18, 2001
Remark
Photographer
C-GPWG (cn 174) Tango - Air Canada's new product starting up November 1, 2001. Will be operated by Air Canada with Air Canada staff. I'm told, however, that the "new" low-cost carrier is yet to come! It's nice to finally see some colour at Pearson!

Alitalia
McDonnell Douglas MD-11
Hong Kong - Kai Tak International (HKG / VHHH) (closed)
China - Hong Kong, Mid 1990's
Remark
Photographer
I-DUPB (cn 48431/534) My 500th photo to Airliners.net and I wanted to make it a special one. This is THE lowest and scariest approach I ever saw at Kai Tak. The AZ MD11 was so low that my heart missed a beat as I thought that he was going to put the aircraft into Kowloon City. I will never forget this landing. If you compare this photo to others on the IGS, you will see just how low the MD11 was!
