Cockpit view from Air Nostrum CRJ-200 over the old THR. you can see the Terminal Building to the left, the new TWR to the right, with Rwy 36L.Right in front you can see the storage of most of IBE retired B727s,DC9s and DC-10s, together with the cranes that are building the new terminal. To the right you can see the ILS antennas for the old THR, and the taxiway to La Muñoza. The airport decided to displace the Threshold of Rwy 33 to expedite the crossing of Rwy 36 (now 36R). |
