N8094 (cn 10994) This former Royal Canadian Air Force Dollar Nineteen was bought by H&P for conversion to fire bomber status, but it seems set to end its days in the wilds of Wyoming |

N8094 (cn 10994) Two former RCAF Dollar-Nineteens, each in slightly different colours, sit out the end of their lives in the sun with only the dramatic Big Horn mountains to keep them company |

N37636 (cn 253) Bought by C-119 specialists Hawkins and Powers, and occasionally flown on the air show circuit before that, "Georgia Box" is a long way from her spiritual home |

N140HP / 140 (cn 726-7102) Tanker "140". I was trying to figure out what the ground engineer was saying to the guy climbing out of the cockpit. I decided it was probably "You could have waited 'til I got clear - now my feet are all wet". The big pool of water on the ramp is evidence that they've just done a test drop from the retardant tanks in preparation for the 1994 fire season |

N8093 / 140 (cn 10776) The previous tanker "140" (the current tanker "140" is a Lockheed Neptune") was this still immaculate Dollar-Nineteen. After the C-119 was retired from forest fire fighting duties as a result of its tendency to shed its wings, H&P kept a few of theirs in excellent condition for donation to museums |

N127HP (cn 33) This rolled off the manufacturer's production line in 1958. Over 35 years later she was still looking immaculate, having just returned from a tour of duty in Australia supporting mining operations. She now sits in the scrub with the dramatic Big Horn mountains looking on. |
