Swiss International Air Lines
McDonnell Douglas MD-11
Zurich (- Kloten) (ZRH / LSZH)
Switzerland, January 1, 2003
Remark
Photographer
HB-IWM (cn 48457/498) When this MD11 departed from home base, I thought that she might have had a problem. The gear retracted normally, all apart from the right hand wheel door. It stayed open for a good few seconds, and then finally decided to close. All's well that ends well.

Remark
Photographer
N183DN (cn 27110/492) Delta have replaced the MD11 with the B763 for the ATL-ZRH-ATL run: I know which aircraft I prefer, but at least the light was a stunner!

This is my 5000th upload to airliners.net and I'd like to dedicate this photo to my better half Anna and of course to our daughter Charlotte. Thanks for your support girls! Thanks to a.net too for the excellent site that is provided for us photographers.
