JY-SGI (cn 193C-1234) Whilst much newer airplanes (including some former United 747-400s) rest in the background, an old girl takes to the air again. This former Delta aircraft, now registered in Jordan, proves that there is life after storage at Victorville even for TriStars. What a treat to see a Delta TriStar fly in late 2003! |

N707GE (cn 17608/122) This was the last coal-burning 707 flying in the USA, now sadly condemned to the scrap heap. Built in 1960, she started out with Pan Am as "Clipper Bald Eagle". She was special to me because she was a former Donaldson and British Midland bird (G-AYXR), and I saw her many times in the colours of airlines like Syrianair, Tunisair, Kuwait Airways and PIA. She was also the first 707 I went on board, during a school tour to East Midlands Airport many years ago |

N601UA (cn 21862/2) Sharing close proximity in the desert with fellow 767-222s N608UA and N609UA, only the second 767 built (at right) awaits better days which will hopefully bring it a return to the air |
