Nippon Airship Corporation
Zeppelin LZ N07 Airship
Helsinki - Malmi (HEM / EFHF)
Finland, July 18, 2004
Remark
Photographer
JA101Z (cn 002) Lots of people visited Malmi airport during the days that the Zeppelin spent there. The plan was to stay in Helsinki for about a week and then fly to Japan via Russia. However, receiving the proper permissions to use Russian airspace from Russian authorities took so long that the Zeppelin stayed almost two months at Malmi airport. Finally, they gave up and flew the airship back to Germany and now it was shipped to Japan instead.
