American Trans Air - ATA
Lockheed L-1011-385-1-15 TriStar 100
Baltimore / Washington - International (Friendship) (BWI / KBWI)
USA - Maryland, May 7, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N194AT (cn 193B-1230) I can't begin to describe the expression on my face when I discovered that AMT815 was being operated by this beauty.....as I type this a day later, the immense grin on my face is still in place. The fact that this particular flight had to make a fuel stop in SNN suggested that it was being operated by their sole TriStar 100. I hope that ATA's management department decides to keep ship 194 around for a while.....and don't they dare repaint her! ;-)

Douglas C-117D (DC-3S)
Off-Airport - Solheimasandur
Iceland, April 29, 2005
Remark
Photographer
17171 (cn 43309) Made a forced landing on November 24, 1973 with no casualties. Been shot at through the years by reckless Icelanders and is now a home to a proud family of ravens. They can be seen sitting around the hatch in the roof. The "blood" on the fuselage is actually a paint or primer. [Canon 20D + EF 70-200 F/2.8L IS]
