USA - Florida, October 2001
Remark
Photographer
129655 The Vought F7U Cutlass was one of the most innovative aircraft used by the U.S. Navy. This photo shows the long forward undercarriage leg and the very elevated cockpit position which gave an excellent view when approaching the carrier.

Douglas F-6A Skyray (F4D-1)
Pensacola - NAS / Forrest Sherman Field (NPA / KNPA)
USA - Florida, October 2001
Remark
Photographer
134806 (cn 10400) Strongly influenced by studies made by Alexander Lippisch which resulted in the Me163 Komet, the Douglas Skyray was the U.S. Navy's first seaborne delta wing fighter. Nicknamed the 'Ford' (from it's F4D designation) the type took the world absolute speed record in October 1953. This example deserves her place in this magnificent museum.

Boeing 777-212/ER
Singapore - Changi (SIN / WSSS)
Singapore, January 4, 2005
Remark
Photographer
9V-SRE (cn 28523/239) Fortunate to spot her during my last few minutes in Singapore - while my aircraft was taxiing to runway 02C for departure. The background was the characteristic ATC tower of Changi Airport, which is one of the landmarks in Singapore.
