134806 (cn 10400) Strongly influenced by studies made by Alexander Lippisch which resulted in the Me163 Komet, the Douglas Skyray was the U.S. Navy's first seaborne delta wing fighter. Nicknamed the 'Ford' (from it's F4D designation) the type took the world absolute speed record in October 1953. This example deserves her place in this magnificent museum.

9V-SRE (cn 28523/239) Fortunate to spot her during my last few minutes in Singapore - while my aircraft was taxiing to runway 02C for departure. The background was the characteristic ATC tower of Changi Airport, which is one of the landmarks in Singapore.
