British Aerospace Harrier GR7A
Cottesmore (Oakham) (OKH / EGXJ)
UK - England, April 13, 2006
Remark
Photographer
ZD411 / 40A (cn P40) Don't think I can ever recall seeing a Harrier heading down the taxiway with flaps fully-extended! Certainly makes it look very different! This aircraft is one of six heading out for 800 NAS's first cruise as a conventional Harrier squadron, under the banner of Operation Aquila.

ZD327 / 08A (cn 512115/P8) First shot on the database of this Harrier a) following upgrade to GR.7A standard and b) of it wearing 800 NAS marks. Also note the 'kill' marks on the nose from its service in Afghanistan on Operation Herrick duties. Seen here departing for HMS Illustrious on 800 NAS's first cruise as a conventional Harrier squadron.
