LN-BNK (cn 568) Seen arriving rwy 24 in the first season with regular flights from Sogndal to FBU. LN-BNK was new the year before, february 9th 1978, and was the last Twin Otter delivered in these colours, and the 13th DHC-6 for WF. Sadly, three years later 15 people tragically lost their lives when it crashed in sea during flight near Gamvik, March 11th 1982.

WV787 (cn EEP71644) Of A&AEE Boscombe Down seen arriving for IAT 81. This aircraft was used for icing trials (note the spray bar fitting under the rear fuselage). This aircraft is presently preserved at the Newark Air Museum.

KF314 (cn 14A-2015) Heads a unique line of three Harvards (KF314, KF183 & FT375) operated at the time by A&AEE Boscombe Down as camera-ships. This aircraft was in use with A&AEE for many years; being first aquired in 1949. Sadly, it crashed on 22.2.82. FT375 has since been withdrawn from use, still leaving KF183 flying from Boscombe Down.
