XJ580 / E-131 (cn 10062) Built in 1960 as a Sea Vixen Mk1 and served with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm on board various aircraft carriers until being converted to FAW2 specification in 1965. She was finally retired in Jan-1980 and was reportedly the last Sea Vixen flown by the FAA in Royal Navy colours. Preserved at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum since 2000.

USA - Navy
Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat (G-58)
Pensacola - NAS / Forrest Sherman Field (NPA / KNPA)
USA - Florida, October 16, 2006
Remark
Photographer
121710 / B-100 (cn D.1084) Compared with many late-war US fighters, the Bearcat is a small aircraft. Pilots joked about the Bearcat, saying they "strapped them on rather than climbing into them". Specifically designed to be deployed from aircraft carriers to combat the threat of Japanese kamikaze attacks, the aircraft wasn't ready for deployment until 1945. Only 770 of the intended 3,800 examples were built. The US Navy display team, the Blue Angels, flew Bearcats and many others found success at the Reno Air Races.
