N134B (cn F-1) This airplane is a prototype that was in competition for a military trainer contract. It was pitted against the Cessna T-37, also on display at the Kansas Aviation Museum, which won the contract. Because the Mentor was not purchased by the military, no more planes were constructed.

52-9564 (cn 580-7556) For some reason this aircraft wears the serial number of another T-33 on display in Montana; the real serial number of this plane is 52-9446. She's on display on the outer fringes of the St. Louis Museum of Transportation. Be aware if you visit this museum that their focus is primarily trains, not aircraft - not a problem for me.
