Sabena
Boeing 707-329
Manchester - International (Ringway) (MAN / EGCC)
UK - England, May 28, 1960
Remark
Photographer
OO-SJB (cn 17624/92) Sabena's early production 707-329 refuels before departing to New York (Idlewild) on the scheduled service. It has the initial lower fin and lack of ventral fillet, as fitted to early 707's. The taller fin was quickly retro-fitted to give better yaw control. Crashed on approach to Brussels on February 15, 1961.

N706TJ (cn 212) The driver was pinned inside the vehicle for over an hour until firefighters were able to extract him. He was taken to the hospital with what I was told were non life threatening injuries.
