MM5701 / 13-95 (cn 8486M) This Falco was built in 1940 and since September 1940 operated by 95. Squadriglia (squadron) at Novi Ligure airfield in Italy. In October 1940 was detached to Belgium as part of some 200 aircraft Corpo Aereo Italiano (CAI) to opearate in support of Luftwaffe during early phase Battle of Britain. Assigned to 95. Squadriglia / 18. Gruppo (group) / 56. Stormo (wing) operated from Maldegem airbase. On 11th November 1940 launched this Falco as part of escort bomber raid against Harwich, piloted by Sgt. Pietro Salvadori. Due to oil pipe failure force landed on the beach at Orfordness, Suffolk. Since 1942 was tested by British, than changed many airbases and in 1973-74 restored in St. Athan for museum purposes. |

730301 / D5-RL (cn 730301) This Messerschmitt was manufactured in 1944, developed for night fighting and equipped by FuG220b Liechtenstein SN-2 radar. In May 1945 was surrendered to Allies at Grove airfield (todays Karup) in Denmark. Aircraft was coded D5+RL and assigned to 1. Staffel / Nachtjagdgeschwader 3 participated in the night defence of Denmark and Northern Germany. In August was ferried to Schleswig and than to RAE Farnborough. Since 1946 was stored as museum aircraft, in 1976 restored in St. Athans and since 1978 displayed in the Battle of Britain Museum Hall at Hendon. |

FX760 / GA-? (cn 33840) This Kittyhawk was assembled from original parts of several wrecks recovered from New Guinea jungles and some specially fabricated new parts. Fuselage was used from P-40N-15CU, serial 42-106101, later RAAF serial A29-556. Restoration at Chino was completed in 1992 and in May arrived by sea to England. Aircraft is painted as No 112 Squadron Kittyhawk FX760, code GA-?, which operated in Italy. In June 1944 was transferred to No 3 Squadron RAAF and on 21 August 1944 was shot down by AA fire near Pesaro during dive attack, killed W/O Halpin onboard. |

D-FMVS (cn 234) Former Spain Air Force Buchon registrated C.4K-169 was in 1966 decommissioned and sold to civilian user. In May 1968 was bought to Duxford, registered as G-AWHT, displayed and used in movie "Battle of Britain" too. During years 1968-1988 flew in USA with registration N9939 by the Confederate Air Force in Texas. In 1988 was sold to mr. Harold E. Kindsvater and registered as N109W. In 2010 was bought by MeierMotors GmbH to Germany and wears new registration D-FMVS. Paint scheme is unauthentic, on the nose wears badge of I./Gruppe JG 27 and marking is most similar to Bf 109G-6 of pilot Hauptmann Ludwig Fanzisket Gruppenkommandeur l./JG 27, worn the same badge, green band on fuselage and white rudder. But Gruppenkommandeur marking was diferent and rudder without victories symbols. |
