71-0889 / LN (cn E2-85) A very common sight at Leuchars during the Eighties and early Nineties in the height of the Cold War. "Ratch 32" is seen arriving for the annual "Battle of Britain At Home Day" and wore special marks for the 493rd FS Commanding Officer.

British Aerospace Harrier GR7
Leuchars (St. Andrews) (ADX / EGQL)
UK - Scotland, July 21, 1993
Remark
Photographer
ZG471 / AB (cn P61) Leuchars Visiting Aircraft Section would handle several visiting aircraft each day, sometimes as many as thirty to forty on the odd occasion, and was one of the busiest RAF stations in the UK during the Eighties and Nineties. Here, "Rubic 1 and 2", a pair of Harriers from 3 Squadron, RAF Germany, have dropped in for fuel during a routine training exercise.
