N7555A Paris Air Show. Another of those beautiful finds that make Le Bourget a real gem. At a glance indistinguishable from the similarly sized and similarly equipped Air Tractor AT-803U Air Truck, the ArchAngel is the newest generation of cheap, off-the-shelf COIN aircraft. Essentially a highly modified Turbo Thrush cropduster, this imposing aircraft boasts a four-screen glass cockpit, wide array of weaponry, optional turret cam and other surveillance equipment, hefty armor protection and a 10 hour endurance. |

Paris Air Show. The newest - and possibly the oddest - aircraft to come out of the Piaggio workshop, the Hammerhead is an unmanned, thoroughly-modified version of the company's P-180 Avanti II. An all-Italian modification - undertaken in partnership with Selex - the P.1HH had made its first public outing today, having been unvailed by the CEO of Piaggio and Italy's Minister of Defense. |
