Beech D18S
Hamilton (YHM / CYHM)
Canada - Ontario, September 15, 2014
Remark
Photographer
C-GZCE / 143/BAE (cn A-156) This 1946 D18S started off carrying passengers and freight between Florida and Maine. Then International Nickel (INCO) operated it for nearly 25 years hauling men and equipment to prospecting sites and mines in Canada and Central America. The aircraft has been restored by the CWHM in the colours and markings of a detached photographic section of the RCAF, circa 1944, which was stationed in Winnipeg.

North American B-25J Mitchell
Hamilton (YHM / CYHM)
Canada - Ontario, September 15, 2014
Remark
Photographer
C-GCWM / HD372/VO-F (cn 108-47734) This B-25 was assembled in Kansas City in early 1945 but never saw military service. It was operated as a civilian transport for over 25 years and then left abandoned at Wilmington Airport, Delaware. The aircraft was beautifully restored by the CWHM to wear the markings of 'Hot Gen', a B-25J of RAF No. 98 Squadron that fought over North West Europe during 1944-45.
