N14053 (cn 420) American flight 587, an Airbus A300 crashed shortly after take-off into several houses in the Rockaways. Shown here is one of the engines that fell off the aircraft and landed away from the main impact site. As I approached the house, the rear was totally engulfed in flames. You can cleary see the damage caused by the blazing fire.
