G-ALRX (cn 12874) Whilst operating for the UK Ministry Of Supply, a fire broke out in the No.3 engine, the fire could not be contained so No.4 was shut down as a precaution, on approach to Filton No.1 and 2 failed, an emergency landing was made on the mud flats of the Severn Estuary.
