66-8303 (cn 500-0001) This is the first C-5A a year into the flight test program. Note the unique Galaxy inscription and 0001 on the forward fuselage. Also, there are unique flight test details. The fuselage "boat tail" is truncated. There is a yellow air-data drogue and wire haning from the tail bullet. And, there is a large test probe on the nose. The first flight was 30 June 1968.
