N35LX (cn 23528/1290) The CATB (Cooperative Avionics Test Bed) aicraft on final approach for a landing at the Lockheed Martin Fort Worth Texas plant. The CATB is a modified Boeing 737-300 used to test the mission systems of the F-35 Lightning II. The external modifications include a sensor wing forward of the main wing, added structure on the top and at the bottom of the fuselage and a modified nose representing the F-35 nose. (Canon 350D + 100-400 L IS)
