AP-BHP (cn 665) Overview of Gilgit airport, situated at 4,900 feet above sea level in Northern Pakistan. The airport is famous for its visual scenic approach. Currently only PIA ATR-42 and Air Force C-130 serve the airport regularly. Please enjoy a moment of the calm scenery from my picture. The new terminal and tower on the right hand side of the photo is due to open in Jan 2013. [Nikon D300]
