Antonov An-12B
In Flight
Russia, March 31, 2013
RA-11025 (cn 6344103) Flight route Moscow (VKO) - Murmansk (MMK) - Longyear (LYR). Just some minutes after take off from Murmansk I got a great opportunity to take a nice picture of a illuminated An-12 cockpit. Actually all green scalar indicators haven't got a backlighting inside. All of them have a phosphorus inside. And it shines under the special lamps (on the top of a indicators panel). Amazing feeling to fly this 46-years old plane that still on duty! Many thanks to crew! Dedicated to my 5D mkII crashed a day after.
