That’s more common. With closer bases however you can share out stations using same ground personnel and equipment, making the station more cost effective (especially if only serving a few times a week). are they even using their own ground staff? I can't imagine they are insourcing their operation...

I can't see 3x JFK-LHR, even 2x I think would be a bit much for the next 2-3 years. BOS I do wonder if it will get off the ground and certainly not 2x at 76L capacity, I'd be on board for 2x 75B however.

I can't evision a scenario in the next 2-3 years where DL would have LGW back in the network. We can all speculate about when travel will get back to "normal", but that normalcy will end up at LHR.

I wish it could, I even wanted to get my UA flight back EWR-LGW, but no chance of that.

not surprising. Companies are also going to significantly reduce their travel spend now that they've seen business continue, revenues remain stable and all done with zero business spend. It will be hard to justify moving forward dedicating such a large amount of funds for travel.

pretty simple, you simply leave at the time it will take to get you to your position required for clock-in. No different than people who commute in cities like Chicago or NYC who were taking very lengthy train rides to be at their job at the assigned time.

UA should be able to save some cash for staff salaries if they end up laying off the catering group and outsource to the lowest bidder. Wonder if they would still maintain the facilities or sell those as well.

I'd be shocked if DL did move to C, especially with WN wanting all and NK even wanting another gate. I'd imagine B6 moving to C before DL as it could then turn into another common-use gate with their limited schedule.

QR is in desperate need of freighter lift. Their fleet is over extended as it is. Then why did they dump their entire A330F fleet, all of which basically within the last 12 months?
