God Save Our Gracious Queen! Very appropriate name for the terminal.
Jump to postWelcome back best trip report writer ever! Great report as usual Ryan. And a speedo pic to boot
The 74L operated to HNL in the early 90s. I did SYDHNL on a 74M and returned on the beautiful SP.

Jump to postThey were refurbished in from memory early 80's when the camel hump colors were introduced. Enclosed overhead lockers were installed and I'm sure indirect lighting. Not those 2 exposed strips that used to run the length of the cabin! Something was also done to try and quieten the cabin and I'm sure ...

Jump to postIs it really necessary to post a pic of the QF F/A with the catty comment? Otherwise not a bad TR.
Jump to postIt was a PITA when the inevitable aircraft change occurred and NLH was put on the flight because of the different config as compared to all the other 744s. I can't remember for the life of me now what the config was. Maybe I've just erased that period from my mind <img src="http://cdn-www.airl...

Jump to postJust one question from an outsider. Why is it that seemingly a large proportion of the population of the United States is so "wrapped up" in God? This is not meant to start a flame war but it's a serious question. I just done get it.
Maybe someone can explain how all this "God" stuff started.
Let's hope for the sake of the country she does a better Job than the current female state Labour premiers
Jump to postNot to excuse the behaviour you encountered in any way but it started to go off the rails when your "contact" did the wrong thing by pre seating you in 23A.
Jump to postThat really is hysterically funny. I giggled for ages when I first read about it a few days ago in the press here. I'd find it hard to believe like the publisher that anyone would be offended.

Jump to postROK in the 70's and 80's was a little better than "just a shed" ! The old terminal was the one in your pic to the left of the current terminal. It has the control tower on the top. Great pics, since I'm a ROK boy!
I really like the new livery. I was at Brighton Le Sands a week or so ago and saw OGD approaching from the south. It's quite evident even from that distance that the livery is different. I was surprised at how noticeable the difference is.
Jump to postI'm happy to have the Libs back again. I'm doing quite well. I'm really tired of hearing people bitching about interest rate rises. Rates are still low. Perhaps people should take responsibility for their own actions and stop borrowing above their means.
Jump to postPaul Keating and his 17% interest rates. Arrogant prick he was!
Jump to postOn their website you can vote for where in Australia you would like them to operate! You have 3 choices. Mine were BKQ BCI and LRE.
