Re: Jetblues T5 And Widebodies

Aer Lingus uses gates 9, 11, and/or 14 for their DUB/SNN flts.

Hawaiian used to use gate 14 but now utilizes gate 30 or their HNL flt.

And don't forget that TAP Portugal now flies to JFK out of T5 and also utilizes gate 30.

Re: Any Potential Markets From LGB That Are Not Served?

Chicago, Dallas, and Denver are probably the largest hnserved markets, althoufh WN will begin service soon. SEA on AS/QX, DEN on UA would not surprise me as both cohld operate with the regional slots. Didn't AS/OO operate this already? Alaska and Horizon operated LGB - SEA/PDX. Both have since drop...

Good luck! They are going to need it. The route operated for. Early a decade successfully. It'll be fine. Easy to fill planes to LA's second largest transcon market after NYC. I couldn't have been that successful if they ended it. I don't question the ability to fill the planes, but I do question i...

Re: B6 and non-Mint Core A321s to west coast-when?

Since you mentioned RNO, I believe there is a Core A321 on one of the JFK-LAS flights. I've seen one there on two seperate occasions but didn't know if it was a Mint or Core aircraft. The all core 321 is typically used for the JFK-LAS redeye rountrip flt. Other than that, the 321 was also making da...

Re: AS/VX Deal May Be in Trouble

Question... what becomes of VX's SFO-DCA beyond perimeter slot?

If I remember correctly (and please correct me if I'm wrong), when AA acquired TWA, weren't they not allowed to keep TW's LAX-DCA flt? Didn't it get relinquished and had to be rebid for?

Will this also be the case for AS?

Re: AS/VX Deal May Be in Trouble

Why just because they have the same type of airplanes? It's not really as big of a deal as everyone here makes it out to be. Alaska is trying to grow regionally and this gives them that availing right away. B6 seems like a better match because its more like VX in terms of product and culture, and b...
