My opinion is that there is opportunity at some of these airports but with certain critical components in addition to what was already indicated (large regional population and strong ground transport options. Network or interline on at least one end. Modern and efficient aircraft like 737MAX or 321X...

D8 finally loaded their winter 737 TATL schedule so they are technically not adds. They are showing MAX’s from September on but have been using NGs. PVD keeps DUB in the winter but 4x weekly versus daily this past winter.

LAS was PVD’s second largest airport without nonstop service plus there are a few connecting options at LAS to PDX and RDM.

F9 tried MSY last winter on days 247, so perhaps SY’s days 135 works better?

Either way, great to see SY growing in PVD!

Maybe they will base the MAX crews and aircraft in Scandinavia and turn DUB into a mini hub?

ARN, CPH, OSL-DUB-PVD, SWF, YHM and reverse. I think there is enough crew time to do this one way in a crew day? It would also provide more intraline connections if it was banked. Just thinking out loud.
