Re: Pan Am Mainline service to Providence, RI (PVD)

PA never flew mainline at PVD but as the previous reply mentioned served PVD for a few years via Pan Am Express operated by Ransome Airlines. Ransome was later sold to TW who folded it into TWexpress. Ransome somewhat pioneered the commuter partnership landscape being among one of the first airlines...

Re: Breeze - News and Discussion Thread - 2021

I’ve maintained that it is almost impossible to guess without knowing the choices of bases. If they go with something like DAB or MLB, the spokes will need to be larger markets like RDU, BWI, PIT, etc. if they are larger bases like FLL, TPA, MSY, etc. then smaller spokes would seem logical. If the b...

The struggle I have in guessing where they will fly is the make up of their bases. Or will it be “alternative” airport bases to “prima...

If Breeze were to enter PVD, my guess would be they consider SFB, SRQ, SAV, CHS, JAX and similar type routes that don’t compete directly with anyone except maybe G4. The difference will be Breeze should have an easier time filling an E90 versus G4 filling an A320.

Just my guess.
