I wondered about new, quieter aircraft, when I was flying on the 777 the other day. No matter what class you fly noise can be an issue trying to sleep (ear plugs help); I'd rather have a noiser aircraft and not have to hear everyone around me, but then again I'm a light sleeper.

There's good and bad crews no matter what airline, contract, age, sex, etc. To make such broad and vastly assumptive statements is totally ridiculous. Any regular flyer will know consistency is a major problem with crews at many airlines and it often has nothing to do with the above.

I have always avoided flybe because they're more expensive than other options that offer a better quality product.
