I've flown on it a few times and it is pretty nice considering its age and compared to some of the other Navy C-9's. Its got a pretty cool, but totally ghetto IFE system that has "Marine" written all over it.

Any name brand hotel in Downtown Charleston will be nice. There are also a lot of little (and pricy) local hotels that are very nice with a great location (ie Market Pavillion, Charleston Place, Harbor View Inn) Just depends on how much $$$ you are willing to spend.

He was #7 last year as the narrator. This year he is the opposing solo #6. If was him, he was a great guy and he will be missed. I knew him in his previous command. I took a few classes from him which were some of the most enjoyable tactics courses I ever had.
