RE: What Are Some Good Online Diecast Model Stores?

A good resource for anything you want to know about collecting diecast models. www.airlinebuzz.com The website below is under new ownership but the owner has been selling on ebay for years. You get a discount if you are a member of airlinebuzz. ...

RE: Lights Out At 37,000 Feet!

This is a customer service issue and most airlines will give out miles or future credit/upgrades for something like this. You don't always have to complain. I have seen airlines contact passengers directly when something like this happens to disrupt their normal service. I had a client that had a pr...

RE: Res & Ticket Agents Top Time's Happiness Survey

I also loved my years as a res agent for TWA. I also worked in customer service, rate desk and training. It was a large office and very diverse group of people. Unfortunately it didn't pay well and there was little to no job security. I had my share of upset customers but most of the time found ways...

RE: Odd Scheduling Of MSP Flights On DL/F9 - Insights?

I am assuming you are booking on line. You might be able to get the system to book these flights. I know in the travel agency system (Sabre) I can book this manually and it will price correctly. Just not sure you can get it done on line or get a Delta agent to do this for you. As far as fares go Fro...

RE: Odd Scheduling Of MSP Flights On DL/F9 - Insights?

The Delta issue starts with the March 2nd schedule. The minimum connection time in SLC is 25 min. The winter schedule shows the flight times as 615a - 915a which makes this a legal connection to a 940a departure. The ...

Looks more like a problem with Pinnacle Airlines and their ground handling at these smaller stations. Reporting it to NW Customer Care may bring light to an isolated problem with a partner carrier. TWA's value was their JFK operating rights. They would have complemented either OneWorld or Star Alliance well there. Maybe a little more for OneWorld and American which is why I think <acrony...

RE: Why No DL DFW-LAX?

The route is definetely dominated by American which as 15+ flights daily. United has 1 flight daily to feed their transpac service. There certainly is room for competition for anyone wanting to take on American. Delta gave up and so did Air Tran. With the build up at <acronym title="Los Angeles - In...

Cool pics..

In Sabre and on their website it shows they accept American Express/Visa/Mastercard/DinnersClub/Discover and UATP. Not sure why Orbitz would restrict Amex.

Hope they make it.
