Well the worst kept secret is finally out. Compass knew its days were numbered for at least a year, if not more. What would be the impact on TransStates if DL drops Compass and GoJet? Positive because they would be smaller and more nimble or negative because of the loss of flying and revenue? UA does not use brake release for D:00 they use push back. Brakes off for Pushback is what ACARS records for Departure , That's what we're judged by. you can still "quietly" release and reset the brakes with no one the wiser and get that out time. and then wait for the push clearance., im...

I think complaining about D0 stems from privileged entitlement. There is no way a plane leaving the gate on time is a bad thing. Personally, I hate boarding 20 minutes early then waiting for over 10-15 minutes past departure time for this, that and the other. As a customer, there is nothing better ...

in your situation, were you confirmed "F" on a 2 class 67?, i could easily see your flight over by 70 if it went from a 2 class 67 to a 3 class 67.

rose, where did u hear this rumor???..where ever you heard it, it can not be true....some of the 400s are coming up on 20 years, some of the 300s are pushing 20 as well, with the 42 busses coming online(if it actually happens) they could convert some of those to a 330/350 or 340 but iirc didnt tilto...
