Let's say that DL is indeed looking seriously at the Max, which version(s) are they most interested in? Max7 or Max8? Wouldn't think they'd need a Max9 or 10 given all the 739ERs and A321s in the fleet, and A321NEOs on order.

Airbus has firmly locked-in DL for the foreseeable future. A221, A223, A225, A321, A339, A359 and maybe some A320s if need be. Not gonna see a Boeing order until perhaps the next generation NB becomes available! If DL really thought they needed any version of the 787, they'd of procured them by now!

Wait I'm confused. Have any of the ex NW A330s had an interior refresh?? Since when? Post 10/2008 merger they got lie-flat seats in J and added Comfort+ -- circa 2012, maybe? Before DL finished the 763 IIRC. I was aiming for complete interior refurb front to back. Sounds like that hasn't happened y...

The C-Series alias A220 also makes a sound when power is applied coming from idle. I find it pretty annoying on the ground when the aircraft needs to stop and increases power to be able to taxi. Especially because the aircraft is the opposite of being noisy this draws my attention every time. A330s...

At what point does the A220-300 look like an excellent 737-700 replacement? Given the 500+ 737-700s in the fleet, I could see some of the replacement cycle going with a lighter/more fuel efficient bird, instead of the 737 Max 7.

They're LCC in that their costs per passenger mile is low, but their fares never are. Usually the same, or more, as the other three legacies. Everytime I've checked the last ten years. I've never found one of those $50 one way flights they're always advertising. Even on short flights less than 500 ...

After the recent NB campaign result, I can't see the MAX ever being ordered, perhaps the next gen Boeing NB, but not this one. MOM is a distinct possibility, but at this point am not sure if that's gonna be a NB/WB or purely paper airplane.
