It would be very easy to switch over to -15 or -17 engines from a maintenance standpoint, all you would need is a couple engines and some new EGT gauges for the cockpit. Only 3 A/C will be getting winglets this Fall, The remaining 7 will get the mod done in early 2007. The Next A/C should be leaving YLW about Oct.8, as the a/c are scheduled in for only 14 days to complete the winglet install.

From what I have been led to believe, EPR will tell you how well your engine is running (ie: that your compressor is dirty, or is the engine compressing the air the required amount) where as N1 will only tell you how fast the compressor is turning.
