Re: 2024 F1 Season News and Discussion Thread

Most of the correspondents referred to the Merc position as being a seat warmer for Kimi, and as above there's not a lot of confidence that Merc is going to turn things around any time soon. Meanwhile we see a clear path to a F1 seat for a guy who hasn't even won a F2 race yet. It's strange how luc...

Tucked away in the annual report (as a footnote!) was the decision to not proceed with the Manchester Clubhouse (some nice commitment to MAN being shown!) with them taking a near £4 million hit from that decision. Re: Virgin Atlantic News and Discussion - 2024

I'm not a financial expert but looking at the annual report the airline is carrying a lot of debt. A lot the debt is probably from the COVID lockdown period when they were in survival mode. That will probably take some time to fully pay off, though new aircraft deliveries have continued. A very fla...

As I say, I think the most logical expansion plan for MAN with an extra based unit would be: Summer - 3x LAX, 2x TPA Winter - 2x LAX, 3x DEL Tampa is a low risk gamble, it's already proven to work from LHR, MAN is the second largest European market to Florida IIRC, MAN-MCO is 12 weekly, instead of ...

I guess in the absence of regular in-season testing like 20+ years ago, we’ll never know how Ricciardo properly compares to Verstappen in a Red Bull when we take the RB’s limitations and inferiority into consideration.
