Just thinking of the GVA-BKK route, I tried Thai, Swiss, Lufthansa and Emirates sites and each had information on in-flight duty free, including product details and/or links to their catalog, pre-ordering, phones, etc.

In the late 1960s, Trans-Texas had a "weekend fare" (Saturday-Sunday) for unlimited travel -- $25, if memory serves! Seems like Texas International had a similar "unlimited flights for X days" in the 1970s.

White-knuckle flying is not uncommon, but your list of fears of what 'could go wrong' is obviously much worse than the average knuckler. I have known two different people with similar over-the-top fears, and both attended counseling and 'fear of flying' seminars. Both now fly with little anxiety. As...

American Airlines' website clearly states that they do not accept unaccompanied minors with connections to/from different airlines including OneWorld carriers. https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/special-assistance/unaccompanied-minors. Asking 'which is best' of the 7-8 airlines you mentioned, will get you 7-8 different answers...or more. What's important to you: airline, alliance, aircraft type, seat assignment, etc.? Both segments are 1.5 or less, so inflight service will be minimal. As far as cost, you can already book the first...
