YYZ often has real long waits for ground crew to show up at the gate. Sometimes 15 to 30 minutes. Frustrating when your flight lands on time, and then sits only an airplane length from the gate, unable to disembark.

EL AL flight attendants served really nice steamed sweet bread from baskets to accompany the economy meal on the flights I have been on with them. This was the best I ever had on a flight. But many other times on other airlines, the bread on the meal tray would be like a stone.

I have never yet met a person in Canada who refers to fuel economy in any other way than MPG. Even car ads make fuel economy claims in MPG. There was nothing to be concerned about with Sunwing's hot meals, champagne and hot towels. Life was good. On a lesser airline they would have to endure the six hours with a bag of three pretzels, and a thimble of Coke.
